The MYP hosted their annual CHRISTMAS DAY event on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston, NY. The event was rectored for Jennifer McComiskey & Irene Roach. It was attended by twenty-two teens (from the parishes of St. Anastasia’s, St. Mel’s, Holy Trinity, St. Kevin’s, St. Robert’s & Holy Family). After a song-filled icebreaker & delicious dinner, the teens watched a short video and were presented a talk by Gary McComiskey. The small groups created gift baskets containing infant items that were to be delivered the St. Fidelis Mother & Child Residence in College Point, NY. The evening ended with a meditation & prayer service.
