The MYP hosted ‘LET US GIVE THANKS’ on Friday, November 20, 2009, at Holy Family Church. The event was attended by seventeen teens (from St. Anastasia’s, St. Mel’s, St. Robert’s, St. Kevin’s, Holy Family & Holy Trinity) and rectored by Andrea DiBello & Christina DePaola. The teens were presented talks from PJ Macari & Diana Roach, as well as guest/former team member Darlene Attanasio Schmitt. Small groups were asked to compose letters to Darlene’s sister, Dina (& her family) to support her pending troop deployment to Iraq. The night ended with a spirited game of charades as well as a moving prayer service.
