It is a 50/50 Raffle—the MYP has held it for many years. Traditionally, the MYP held Flea Markets, Car Washes & Coffeehouses to raise money to offset the cost for our Annual Teen Retreat. There are many memories around those events!
Our goal is to sell 100 tickets at $50.00 each and award a Grand Prize of $2,500.00 (or 50% of what we collect). Also, we award a Second Prize of $200.00 & a Third Prize of $100.00. The MYP Team sells the tickets to the MYP Community, family, friends and regular supporters (meaning people who want to win money!).
The use of the money has changed over the years. Not only does it offset the Teen Retreat, it is used to support the program and our service events.
We held the Raffle at our End of Year Dinner celebration. Congratulations to our winners: Marilu Francesca Capobianco won First Prize of $2500, Philipp Bischoff won Second Prize of $200, and Amy Eldredge won Third Prize of $100.
