On Friday, May 30, 2014, MYP Teens and Team gathered in the basement of St. Mel’s Church for our last event of the school year. Through Talks, discussion, skits and meditation, we explored the importance of giving and receiving support through participation in your faith community. The last event is always a bittersweet time for us, and this year was no different. Rectors Laurie and Diana (filling in for Tommy, who was with us in spirit) facilitated our annual senior goodbye, while Megan set the mood through song. To our departing teens, good luck with the next stage of your lives. You will be missed. Everyone else, have a great summer. We’ll see you next year!
