The MYP hosted their annual MYP Christmas Day at St. Mel’s Church on Friday, December 13, 2013. The theme of the event was around hope: what we hoped for this Christmas season. Dinner was provided to the teens as well. Also, the teens were asked to bring Christmas gifts for teens & created gift baskets to be delivered to the Briarwood Family Residence. The evening ended with a prayer service. The rector of the event was Laurie Hallick with assistance from Diana Roach. This was a great event for teens to reflect on the true meaning of Advent & what Christmas can bring to them this year.
